Well, I have gone round and round and I’m back to the same conclusion that I had come to in April—I need to move to New York. Let me explain: I have been here in Kalamazoo since I graduated working a Design job in a small Studio in Battle Creek. My girlfriend started to attend F.I.T. in NYC in the fall and she didn’t know what she wanted to do when she graduates in May. So I was basically waiting for her to decide so I could make my plans. Now she has finally come to the conclusion that she basically need to try to get a job in the city so it sounds like if I don’t want a 3-5 year long distance relationship I need to move to New York. Not that moving to NYC is a bad career move for me, it’s just a big move and I wish I would have started on it earlier.

Oh well keeping my fingers crossed. I really hate having my girlfrind all the way in New York while I am still here in Michigan. I can’t wait to move closer to her and it will be nice to have a more stable sence of the future.
